Read all of John 20 & 21. In light of Sunday’s sermon, what are you drawn to in this section of scripture? What questions do you have?
Have you ever considered the morality of death before? What is it about death that seems ‘wrong’ to you? How does this point to God?
1 Corinthians 15 says that without the resurrection, Christianity isn’t just wrong its actively destructive. How does this idea sit with you? Is belief in the resurrection difficult for you? What might change in your life today, if you knew with absolute certainty that Jesus rose from the dead?
Jesus’ victory over death is your victory! What does that mean for you today? How does receiving the gift of Jesus’ righteousness effect the way you engage your life right now?
