Read all of Matthew 13. In light of Sunday’s sermon, what are you drawn to in this section of scripture? What questions do you have?
If Jesus were truly the treasure of your heart, what might be different about your life today?
What are some of the blessings of Jesus that can distract you from loving him for his own sake? How can those same blessings be a part of your enjoyment of Christ?
Can you identify any ways that you try and fit Jesus into your preconceived ideas of him? What might change in your experience of faith if you were to simply enjoy him as he is?
What hinders you from living as a gospel dragnet? What challenges would you expect to face if you brought the kingdom invitation with you into every facet of your life?
