LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
WHAT IS THE LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING?
Growing up in Virginia, Lottie Moon and her siblings chose to rebel against Christianity. At 18, Lottie followed Christ and was baptized. When she was 33, she sailed to China as a Southern Baptist missionary. She saw firsthand the world’s greatest problem – LOSTNESS.
In letters to Southern Baptists in America, she pleaded for increasing prayer and giving. Her letters raised more support for missionaries to be sent to China.
Every year, Southern Baptists collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® where 100% of the money given sends and support missionaries.
Outreach Christmas Cookie Bake
IFC will once again be baking Christmas cookies for the Ellisville Elementary School teachers and bus drivers. We will need 100 dozen cookies to be baked and delivered to the church on Sunday, December 15th.
Please sign up on the sheet provided on the rear welcome table and list the amount of cookies you can bake. Ideally we will be looking for at least 5 dozen cookies from each person/family. If you would like to be part of the Christmas packing party after the gathering on December 15th, also indicate that on the sign up sheet. Lunch will be provided.
Men’s Steak Night
November 23rd at 6pm. There will be a full steak dinner, a teaching on a men's "hot topic", small group discussion, concluding with a fun, entertaining, and competitive game. The cost is $15.
Sign up for Gospel Community
Gospel Community is the main way we seek to do this at Immanuel.
Gospel Communities are the people of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to live life together on God’s mission, declaring and displaying the gospel. This means we gather in homes throughout our community during the week and spend time together in prayer, confession, celebration, worship, study, and anything else that helps us to contextualize the gospel of Jesus to our everyday lives.
If you’re looking to deeply connect to the life of Immanuel Fellowship, this is the next step for you.
Community Bulletin Board
The Community Bulletin Board is a place to get information about events taking place within our community. While these events may not be official Immanuel Fellowship Church (IFC) events, they are still important in fostering a sense of connection and unity among our members and the broader community. If you have an event you'd like to have posted, please utilize the digital form at the bottom of this page, ensuring that important details are provided for easy understanding and participation.
