Prayerfully read through Acts 2:42-47 before engaging the below questions. What words, thoughts, and ideas stick out to you?
How has this series on Jesus pouring into you had an impact on your life?
How has the church and Christian community had an impact on your life, either negatively or positively in the past? Has that affected how willing you are to jump into community now?
When you consider Jesus' words in John 15 about abiding in Him, and then loving others as Christ has loved you, do you feel like you have a good idea of what that should look like in your own life?
The church in Acts 2 responded to Jesus’ love and command in a very life changing way. Do you want to respond to Jesus’ love and commands like that? Why or why not? How would your life change if you went ‘all in’ on living for Jesus and others?
Do you struggle with Jesus’ command to sacrifice yourself for others? Why or why not?
Do you trust Jesus to love you and care for your needs if you sacrifice yourself for others? Why or why not?
