What are some of the “false gospels” that are prominent in our day and age?
What do you suppose is meant by the idea that the human heart is designed for connection with God? How does this speak to the idea of pursuing happiness in family, marriage, divorce, or singleness?
List out some ways have you seen the pursuit of personal happiness lead to sorrow or loneliness in your own life or in the lives of others.
How should Christians approach situations where divorce seems likely or even necessary due to issues like infidelity or abuse? How can the church community support individuals and families dealing with the challenges of struggling marriages or divorce?
